Jeep wrangler geeks, what mods do you suggest for a friend?

The grill has about 4 push in tabs on top. Remove tabs and the grill pops out with a little pull. Change the headlights before you install a bull bar or winch. Not near the room to pull grill out without scratching it. With the new engine cold air intake and exhaust is about all he can do. Maybe...

Collinite hazing after a few days

I have had wax hazing happen to me only once and believe high humidity was the cause. I applied the wax early in the morning when humidity was at the high for the day. Used the same wax many times since with no problems. It was not Collinite but a popular foreign brand.

Polish Angel Famous number of applications

Don’t know about Famous but I put 2 coats on 2 sedans with a 50 ml bottle of Viking Coat and have some left. Can’t tell how much with the dark bottle. A little goes a long way.

Any way to help cracked leather?

It was a Lexus that I posted about Sunday. My only concern is how long will this last? In this case it really doesn’t matter because she is trading very soon.

Any way to help cracked leather?

I tried the YouTube trick Sunday with much skepticism. It did work with many passes. Took some time. It was a huge improvement and my friend and I were amazed at the results. The cracks will always be there but you have to look a lot closer. If you try this use a little more paint than the video...

What's the last form of exercise you've done?

Re: what's the last form of excercise you've done? Ten years ago the doctor wanted to replace both of my knees. I told him that was not going to happen! I found out by accident that 20 minutes a day on the elliptical and my knees don’t buckle on me anymore. If I miss 3 days in a row I start...

Have you use any SiO2 waxes, what's out there?

Totally agree with swanicyouth. I had to have Synergy and I got it. I like it but there are a lot of easy to use sprays I had rather use. I have 5 different coatings yet I prefer sealants. Being retired I have a lot of time on my hands for this stuff because I despise working on the house! I...

Have you use any SiO2 waxes, what's out there?

I have topped Synergy with both High Gloss and BF SIO2 without any problems whatsoever. I prefer High Gloss but that is just me. I have a tangerine pearl Harley with BF coating topped with Zircon and the Zircon makes the pearl flakes really pop! Only time Zircon looks better than High Gloss.

Will my current tire cleaning regiment work for a clearcoat (Tuf Shine)?

UPDATE: Hard tires to coat! Had plenty of time and gave my off road tires another try. Cleaned them with Tuf Shine tire cleaner using a carpet brush on a cordless drill. Works great! They looked very clean except a few spots that looked like mold release. I rubbed these with lacquer thinner and...

Best Trim Detailer also for Engine Bay?

I use Perl at 3:1 on engines that are mostly covered by plastic like Lexus. Leaves a nice darkened appearance on all of the plastic.

Best Trim Detailer also for Engine Bay?

I wish that I liked Sonus. I have 3 bottles of it. Spray it on engine wait an hour and put on another coat. Never touch it like instructions state. Always looks blotchy and uneven. Tried it on 2 engines with same results. After a couple of days I gave up and wiped it smooth. I will eventually...
