Nope, i was excited to try the speed so i only did my bonnet which i divided into 4 sections.

Thanks for the reply and all the tips guys! I think i will give it another go with maybe another pad and also letting it dry for 20 mins or so before buffing it off. Will update here if everything goes smoothly

Mine did not dust,just that its a hard to buff off. Is this what they meant by “sticky”?

I was using HD speed for the first time with a new white hex logic pads. Used 4 pea size of HD speed to prime the pad followed by additional 3 pea size every reload. Worked on each section with 4 moderate to fast passes. When i was trying to buff off, it was very difficult. Swiped my fingers...

Thanks for your quick reply! Good to know that it is quieter then the 3401. The only thing that is still holding me back from getting one is the Makita comes in 6 inch backing plate from where i am at. And the local distributor is not selling the backing plate for 5inch

How is the D166 compared to meguiars M66? Both are cleaner wax but which will perform better?
