    Rust repair

I have the same question. Does it replace both the rust converter step and the primer step? Graham.

    Rust repair

Thanks for the feedback guys. Unfortunately, the rust warranty is over. I think I'm going to buy a replacement hood from the junk yard that's the same colour and rust free. This should kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I'll get a niceer hood for the van, and I'll be able to use the old one to...

    Rust repair

Hi all, My wife's 2012 Honda Odyssey has started to rust in a few spots and I'm looking for some advise on how to repair it. The damage I've found so far is in 2 main areas: behind the door seals of both front doors and the hood. See below for pics. Most of the damage is under seals and behind...

    Honda Odyssey wash

I’m going to start a new thread asking the best way to repair the rust. It’s almost beyond touch up paint at this point. It’s a continuous strip all along the leading edge of the hood. Sent from my iPhone using AGOnline

    Honda Odyssey wash

Thanks Matt. It's a lot of area for sure!! The rust is all along the front of the hood and a small section at the upper front corner of each front door. It seems the salty water collects behind the seals in the winter and never dries out. I don't really know how I'm supposed to clean it though...

    Honda Odyssey wash

The weather finally cooperated so I tackled the exterior of the wife's van yesterday. It was my first proper car wash in a long time. I got all the kinks out before doing my car next weekend. Here were my steps: Engine detail (APC) Wheels (iron X, fender brush, wheel woolie, detail brush...

    MF towel segregation for laundry

I’m about to do my first load of MF towels and I’m wondering how I should separate them. I know I need to keep the glass ones separate from the rest, but are there any others that I should separate from the larger load? For example, should the interior towels go in with the wax buffers and...

One product, complete interior clean - APC?

So I took a closer look at the product my local guy sold me and it turns out that it's not really an APC. This is what he sold me: 3D Orange 88 Citrus Degreaser 128 oz. From the product listing, it seems safe to use on almost any interior surface. Assuming I'll use something stronger for deep...

One product, complete interior clean - APC?

OK, so I'll need a dedicated leather cleaner to deep clean the leather seats. I'll probably just use a damp mf towel for now since the seats are pretty clean and only see light use. Would a dedicated cloth shampoo be good for carpets and cloth seats? Could I still use an APC on plastic and...

One product, complete interior clean - APC?

I'd like to get your opinions on using an APC to clean interiors. Vinyl, leather, plastic, upholstery, carpets, rubber, basically everything except the glass. Is it possible to use different dilutions of an APC to clean everything? I've read a bunch of threads that have differing advice. Some...

    what's your weather currently like?

This came off the wife’s van this morning. About 1/2” to 5/8” thick ice. I’d much rather be mowing the lawn. Sent from my iPhone using AGOnline
