Just used Jescar correction compound and micro finishing on mine. Toped it with Ultralock + . Crazy gloss and easy to work with. Flex rotary and wool made it a breeze.

Also- I noticed the less plush the microfiber the better the take off was.

Is there a current pad recommendation other than what I have for applying sealants . I have the blue course Rupes but the reading I have done here seems to indicate that this is for the polishing step. I also have on hand Orange and white LC forced, B&S black microfiber polishing pads. Thanks

Polished it with 3m finesse II in September. It brought the gloss up but didn’t do much for the swirls as anticipated. Was also contemplating 3D one with a purple wool followed by same with a white lc forced pad then seal.

Thinking of doing 501 and 502 then topping it with the Jescar ultra lock. Has anyone used this combo and how did you like it? I’m looking to take some swirls out of a 4yo crew cab Chevy. Truck has a good gloss and reflection but the swirls are bothering me. Thanks

I did not like the hybrid ceramic spray on gel coat. Not enough gloss. Also be careful with it on your car there is such a thing as using to much and it will attract dirt like metal to a magnet.
