Blackfire One Step . . . Video Demonstration.

Jayfro, that's my plan. I have Lake Country white and orange flat pads and the Griot's 6" D/A. I figured I' d start with test spots using BF One Step with each pad and check the results. If I think I want more correction, I'll go to the Megs UC with each pad on test spots followed by the BF...

Blackfire One Step . . . Video Demonstration.

Cool. Thanks guys. So, I will need to use something between the Megs UC and BF One Step to clean the UC off ? What kind of ratio with isopropyl alcohol is best for this kind of thing ? By the way, Aaryn, fantastic looking results you achieved there. Both the pictures and video are awesome...

Blackfire One Step . . . Video Demonstration.

Thanks to everyone who has answered my questions in this thread. Yes, my truck is a daily driver and is outside 24/7, 365 days a year. As I mentioned, I already have Megs UC and BF One Step. I think I'll try a test spot on the hood with just One Step first to see what it can do. From there...

Blackfire One Step . . . Video Demonstration.

Aaryn NZ, You said in the first post here that if you were going to be chasing correction you would probably go a different direction. Would you expand on that a little please ? Could it be something like using a compound before the BF One Step ? I have some Meguiars Ultimate Compound as...

    Spray and rinse sealants.

But I thought that was the whole idea behind these " Spray and Rinse" sealant products - to easily get a sealant layer of protection on every surface of the vehicle's exterior. Am I misunderstanding something here ?

    Spray and rinse sealants.

Thanks Paul. I see you're a big fan of Collinite 845 from other threads. I'm looking for something easy to use as a LSP. Would really like a spray and wipe product. I know 845 isn't like this, but I would make the exception if the difference is worth the extra time and effort. I want to be...

    Spray and rinse sealants.

So, the water on the vehicle won't dilute the BSD enough to make it ineffective? Or do you let most of the water from rinsing dry first ? Also, after spraying BSD on the wet vehicle, do you just wipe/dry it with a microfiber towel ? How large of an area do you spray and dry at one time ?

    Spray and rinse sealants.

Sorry for the newb question, but, how do you use BSD as a drying aid ? What is the equipment and process used ?

    Interior LSP

What's the difference between the GG Interior Cleaner and Interior Detailer products ? I see both, but not sure what uses each is specified for.

Sonax polymer net shield vs collinite 845 for winter ??

That's a great idea. Do you have a link or something for that velcro handle ? I have several 5.5 inch LC pads I could use for this purpose.

Sonax polymer net shield vs collinite 845 for winter ??

Thanks for the reply. Just a regular wax applicator foam pad or something more specialized ? Sorry about the newb questions. But this will be my first time doing paint correction and sealant on a vehicle.

Sonax polymer net shield vs collinite 845 for winter ??

Nobody has a preference between a microfiber and a foam applicator for PNS ? Come on guys.

Sonax polymer net shield vs collinite 845 for winter ??

I posted this in the other current thread about PNS. I figured I'd post it here too. I've read numerous threads about PNS and BSD. I think these are going to be my sealant/topper for the upcoming winter at least. I'm unsure of the best way to apply these products though. Do most of you use a...

SONAX Polymer Net Shield - Closest thing to a coating without being a coating

I've read numerous threads about PNS and BSD. I think these are going to be my sealant/topper for the upcoming winter at least. I'm unsure of the best way to apply these products though. Do most of you use a microfiber towel or a foam wax, sealant, coating applicator to apply and spread ? I...

    Most Cut / Best Finish

Thanks Paul. I've seen the thread about using that app. I browsed through the thread but got lost pretty quickly. I guess I'll have to read it thoroughly and see if I can figure it out. UPS tracking says my AG package should be here Wednesday...

    Most Cut / Best Finish

Thanks again Tony. Good advise about using UC. I'll have to try that process. If I can figure out how to post pictures, I certainly will. I'm not real good with the whole computer stuff, but I' ll try to figure it out.

    Most Cut / Best Finish

Ducksfan So you're saying to mix di limonene with the Snappy Clean in distilled water to wash my foam pads ? I hadn't heard of using di limonene to do this before ? And, I also wasn't aware about using distilled water for this. I just thought tap water would be fine. Interesting and helpful...

Pics - Engine Cleaned Using Infinity Wax Rubber Wax

Ninja, how did you clean the engine before coating it ? I just placed an order at AG and am hoping to start cleaning my 2010 Frontier soon. It pretty much needs everything : paint correction and interior and engine bay detailing. I'm hesitant about using cleaners with water on the engine...

    Most Cut / Best Finish

Ok guys. I'd like to thank everyone again for all your help with this decision. I placed me order with AG last night. Kept everything the same as what I posted before, except I went with the Forest Green Microfiber Towels instead of the Gold Plush Jrs. Thanks to Tony ( SWETM ), for reminding...
