This one? The brand is RaceGlaze, which are offered as a set, or just the XL version as pictured here. OG sell it, but they get it from Sky's The Limit (Carpro USA). It's great for low profile tyres, the bristles being extremely dense so it hold shape very well...

    Decon wash? Help a newbie

So, do you get the "you can do mine next" or "you'll wash all the paint off that car" comments too? I like having the garage door open, but I often end up with someone disturbing my routine. I know you detail for a living, but 95% of the time it's my moment of peace and tranquility, I really...

I’m a bit of a Nazi when it comes to using space efficiently. And when something is a functional annoyance, you can imagine how I felt about the following image………………………….. With the fridge dictating the level of the shelf above, there was a lot of space going to waste. To partially remedy...

Best glass cleaner for interior windshield?

While I'm happy to pay a price premium for a product, but when it comes to glass, the simpler the better........................ - Waffle weave towels - A non-scented and non-colored glass cleaner such as Invisible Glass or True Vue. - For hard-to-reach areas at the base of the windscreen, a...

I just spray APC into the bristle, then rinse clean under running water. You could also use a tyre cleaner such as Wise Guy or Undressed.

I'm not sure why, but I don't often take interior shots. And on the XR6, it has a somewhat unique look. For FG Falcon, XR sedans and utes were offered with 5 different interior trims. That might sound like a lot, but on the previous BF MK II model, an XR could be had with 13 different interior...

    The Tire Dressing Comparison Thread

What I like about using a brush for this task is that you can wash the bristles with APC or tyre cleaner as needed. With foam, it doesn't take much to turn them manky, which in turn compromises the finish and possibly the longevity. While I'm sure you can clean them too, how many actually bother...

I've had similar poor results from products listed as tyre "sealants". The brand suggests 2 - 3 months, but they will be lucky to last 2 - 3 weeks. However, is that a poor result, or poor communication and expectations set by the company? Ghost is different because it's not a sticky...

    DFB's Garage

Two weeks ago, I replaced the bag on the BG86 that's been set up for vacuum duties. This mostly cured the problem I was having with the inlet clogging up, in turn preventing material being discharged to the back of the bag. However, I still felt like it wasn't performing as it should. For...

    Decon wash? Help a newbie

I've always been of the belief that you want the paint to be as clean and contaminant free as possible before polishing. If there are contaminants still lingering, it reduces the effectiveness of the compound and pad. So, while you might get the result eventually, it's harder and longer to reach...
