Thanks for the continued feedback. I don't have a ton of experience, but in the cars that I have done, I found the Jetta to have a very hard clear coat. I have been using some Menzerna products and so far, I really enjoy them.

Personally, I have never had a problem using Stoner's on tinted windows. I use 2 mfs, one to spread the cleaner and one to buff dry.

Good topic. I've often wondered about what brushes would be good to get in the hinge area. Something not too expensive as this area can get bad on some vehicles!

the tape at the bottom of the doors....is that to protect an edge of a side skirt? or is there a trim piece there? thanks for the helpful pics!

I have heard in the past that VWs typically have a hard clear coat. I'm curious on what pad/polish combos people have had good luck with on this type of vehicle. The vehicle is a 2002 and I have a Flex 3401 DA. The car is a daily driver with RIDS that I don't expect to get out. I'm just...

Will this remove any polish/wax that may have made it on the black plastic trim/housing areas? Or is this more of a dressing?
