    Tricks for dark trim longevity?

Hey guys, i’m just wondering, i know with so many plastic and rubber trim cleaner/restorer/darkener (especially where i live, it rains ALOT, for a good 8 months of the year) it doesn’t take long for that deep black to fade back to that disappointing lacklustre black that drives me NUTS...

    should i buy m20 or m21?

oh i should’ve mentioned, i most certainly do all the prep work. I recently did a very very thorough compound/polish with m110/210 on my Audi. The dark car is a meteor gray mazda 3 which only needs a quick polish, which alone gives it a beautiful shine, i often use a nice quality paste wax as...

    should i buy m20 or m21?

so i’ve found some m20 in Canada for a reasonable price, as well as m21. My main thing is what would give my silver 2007 Audi A4 the best shine, but i also have a dark coloured car and a silver truck in my household. Protection is good and all but i’m more hoping to get the most shine on my...

    m20 vs m21 on silver

So the 2007 silver a4 clearly had some amateur paint correction form before i got it. Just wondering shine wise which is better for my car. Also it rains a lot here. Been using the wash and wax which provides good results just not sure what to top it with. ps i did a m110+210 Combo and loved it...

best wax/sealant for very wet winters?

Hey there, i live in the Metro Vancouver area of BC. Aka very rainy for several months along with some snow here and there. Just wondering what my best bet would be as far as the finishing step? Was debating on collinite paste wax, but i’ve also heard sealants like M21 can provide a nice shine...

    making a silver car shine

Just so expensive for how much you get! I’m up in Canada it’s 55 a bottle for 16 oz! But i may consider it in open to trying anything usually but i’ve had my eyes on meguiars 21 for a bit, so rattled i missed out on #20. Should’ve bought a bottle while it was affordable since it’s discontinued...

    alloy wheel filler?

Okay thanks! I saw that in the store and had thought about it but wasn’t sure it would sand down and furthermore be able to have paint bond well to it. It sands down once set? I realized i didn’t mention that part

    making a silver car shine

good to know! Since it’s the winter (aka rain rain rain rain bit of snow rain rain rain for 6 months) i’m thinking about #21 by meguiars, or p21s as i do love a paste wax but i figure for the wet season 21 would last longer.

    alloy wheel filler?

Hey guys, so i’ve sanded down my alloys, but there’s only so much i can do and i know i can never make it perfect but id prefer to fill in the gouges with something so i can sand it flat then use the repair paint on it as it works fairly well, you really gotta look super close to notice, even...

    making a silver car shine

nope a porter 7424 but i was told not to bother with wool and stay with foam cut? i keep hearing different things as far as cutting goes. My 110/210 combo arrived so i’m gonna try the 110 and see if that finishes off the defects that the 105 didn’t as one the bottle was small and too much bloody...

    making a silver car shine

110 and 210 are almost brand new and apparently 110 has an incredible working time with almost zero dusting. Also heard that 210 is exponentially easier to work with than 205, even Mike Phillips himself has a video with the 110/210 and speaks very highly of it. But you are correct in saying #3...

    making a silver car shine

I have a silver audi a4, as with most silver cars i have an issue really getting it to stand out like a nice dark colour. Has anyone experimented with say #3 machine glaze or nunber 7, or something in their regiment to try and really add to the shine. I’m going to try the m110, m210 and #3 or #7...
