Liquid Glass Legend Durable New-Age Carbon/ PTFE Finish

I can guarantee you the rock chip claim is not true. Extravagant claims aside it will have to be an awfully durable and good looking sealant to justify that price. Can't wait to hear some reviews.

If it has paint... it gets polished...

Nice job Mike. Love the El Camino, is that your car or a customers car?

What are your thoughts on wet sanding factory paint?

Yes, a paint depth gauge is nice but when you work mostly with fiberglass cars they really are out of the question unless you got 2g to throw away on one. Common sense also goes a long way when doing this type of work. My big question is this magic top layer these paint reps tell me about...

What are your thoughts on wet sanding factory paint?

What are your thoughts on wet sanding factory paint? I know it can be done but you need to be very careful since factory cc is very thin yada yada yada. What I am interested in discussing is... Do you think all the protection and/or UV protection is in the outer most layer? I have talked to...

Defelsko PosiTest DFT Combo Electronic Paint Thickness Gauge

Unfortunately 9 out of 10 cars I do are plastic. If it wasn't for that I would own one. Obviously the one I need is way more money than this one. I don't detail enough cars to pay off this one let alone the one for plastic cars. GREAT tool though. :dblthumb2:

White road paint (from the lines)

I have soaked it with isopryl alchohol and then used a plastic body filler squeezee to remove it in the past. It IS NOT an easy task.

Which Dodo Wax have you tried or want to try?

I have tried ver 1 and have not seen any sweating like you mention. I suspect they added more oils to ver 2 to make it easier to apply by hand which is probably what is casuing the sweating.

Even Raccoons like a good reflection

I knew a guy that had one as a pet years ago. Nobody could come in the house as it was nasty if it didn't know you. It also tore the house up (place was a dump anyway). They are VERY smart animals.

    Black Hole and QD+

If you are a carnuaba guy these are two very nice products and I would say a must have. The glaze is very nice on dark colors and had good hiding capabilities for "minor" swirls and really left the paint very reflective and leaves a beautiful finish. It was grayish purple and had a grape odor...

What do you look for in a wax (or LSP)?

All of the above. If I had to pick only 2 it would be wet look and durability.

New Edge Adapter for Makita BO6040

Doing a MB SLK55 this weekend, I can't wait to use the machine again. This adapter saves me so much time and maked detailing a pleasure. :righton:

NEW EDGE Schmitt Grout Sponge: Review

I have been using a beta version of the Grout Schmitt also and can say it is a very nice sponge. I like the texture of the sponge as well as the waffle shape so you have double the protection from and grit touching your paint. It also hold a LOT of water helping keep the area flushed with...

New Edge Adapter for Makita BO6040

If you are thinking about buying one of these new forced rotation ROB machines you must check this out first. My only big complaint with these new machines like the Flex and Makita BO6040 is they only used 6 or 6.5"pads. NOT ANY MORE, atleast not the Makita BO6040 machine. I was considering...
