1Z Einszett Intensive Paste vs Menzerna SIP

Anybody have used both? I'm considering 1Z's as it's half the price and I won't be using this as much, probably once a year only. How would you rate Einszett's Intensive Paste?

    Orange Peel on OEM Paint

I've searched but most of the posts mention of orange peel to be results of a bad repaint job. What about those that came with the car, are these correctable? If so what needs to be done? I have orange peel on the side panels (back passenger doors, black paint).

First polishing experience - Black swirled car

If your car is not iron clad coat (Mercedes/VW/Audi), a UDM will do fine with Nano and green LC Pad. Green pad can both polish and burnish with the Nano. I prefer to use the 5.5" as the denser foams (from white up in 6.5") introduce a lot of vibration. I use green LC pad for both Nano and...

How hard is German VW paint ???

I have an 06 A4 and it's so hard I have to work a panel twice (~5 minute/pass) just to rid of light swirls using green pad and 106FF with UDM. This is why I'm going for a rotary as although using a more aggressive combo (pad/polish) will help, I reckon it would still require the same amount of...

Rotary Backing plate for 6.5" Pads

Hi, recommended LC backing plates are 4.75" while Meg's is 5", are there any difference at all or it's too close a call so whichever one should be good. This will be used with Menzerna 106FF with green pad to remove cobwebs and medium to light swirls on dark color coats (black and british racing...

looking for advice from zaino users

Z5pro has a filler and it is recommended to use as much as 5 layers to see if it can hide all swirls/scratches, if not prepare/correct properly. It has also been said it may take more than 5 layers and others say that the filling capability is not as advertised. However Z5pro is really nice on...

    Question from UDM Newb

Thanks Killr, before shelling out for the SIP, should I give the Nano a try with the low profile orange pad that came with the kit or maybe a green spot pad?

    Question from UDM Newb

So I tried polishing my brilliant black Audi, that car have a concrete for cleat coat. Anyways, some areas I was able to rid of the swirls, some I didn't. I'm using UDM with CCS white pad (6.5") and Menzerna 106FF. I was using speed 6 working the polish slowly and seem to vibrate a lot when not...

    Menzerna 106FF on Zaino Z5pro

I did further research and found out that 50/50 IPA/distilled water will do the trick, so this is what I plan on doing : wash->remove with IPA/ds->wash->clay->polish->wash->seal->QD What do you guys think?

    Menzerna 106FF on Zaino Z5pro

I apologize if I'm mistaken, but doesn't that make claying moot as well if I'm polishing anyway as Menzerna have abrasives? Could some surface contamination be that deep that it might just be partially cut only. Is claying still necessary if let's say you can cut considerably with 106FF with...

    Menzerna 106FF with UDM

It's almost spring and since the kit will be here tomorrow, I can't wait to get my hands on them. From the Menzerna Methodology I, it says this polish is designed to work between 60 - 800F ambient temperature. So should I just wait for slightly warmer temps then eventhough tomorrow will be 60F...
