Performed another headlight restoration earlier today,on my sister's '03 Camry. They weren't in terrible shape but were quite "foggy". I used 5000,800 then a 3000 finishing pad that came with a 3M kit, then compounded with provided 3M compound. The sanding was done with a corded drill and the compounding with a PC DA with a 5.5" orange light cutting pad.I chose to compound and seal with Klasse Glaze rather than the Spar -Urethane method as I was pressed for time.My sister was quite happy with the results as her headlights are now much clearer. As for my satisfaction,I can do a better job,the presence of light spiderwebbing bugs me a bit.I will redo these several months from now,I plan to use my PC DA for the sanding steps next time and seal with Spar-Urethane.
