I had this cool-looking XLR stop by recently. The paint was in tough shape.

Used FG 400 on the hood/trunk with the FLEX 3401 and orange LC Hybrid pad. Followed it up with 3800. HD Speed everywhere else as the owner didn't want to pay for a multi-step so we reached a compromise.

Pinnacle Exhaust Cleaner was used on the exhaust tips. Our Golden Doodle Sherman likes to photobomb my work :)

Thanks for looking!

I always loved those cars. You don't see a lot of them. You did a great job on it :xyxthumbs:

Great results. I too like those.

On a side note, the white Tahoe/Yukon in the first picture....does that have 90s era jazz cup graphics on it?

Great work on the XLR, however your dog made me smile! Looks like you got a great pooch!

Thanks all. Yes, Sherman is my right-hand man, although he takes too many water breaks and claims I'm ruff on him :) He's a two year old Goldendoodle.

And yes, those are some funky graphics. Reminds me of those Zumba pants everyone wore in the 90s.

The owner of the XLR said they only produced that vehicle for 3 or 4 years back in the mid to late 2000s.

I'm impressed! Don't think your dog agrees........ Lol

You don’t see them a lot because they were expensive and a dud in sales. Plus, the idiotic design of the rear opening forward instead of backwards, dumping water into the trunk if it recently rained. I remember a car review mentioning that. You did a great job on that vehicle.
