This Escalade just had some minor swirls and a scratch all the way down the drivers side that the owner wanted removed that the dealer could not. Also on other scratch on the right front bumper that was removed by the dealer but magically re-appeared after he washed the truck. Used M105 on the scratches, M205 on the rest of the vehicle followed by Ultrafina. Also included pictures of some of the other vehicles I will be detailing for him. He has several other Lambo's, Austin Martin, a couple of Z06's and an 08 M3 that are not in the pictures.

Nice job, some sick looking machines. Get your ladder out for that bus.

Wow, very nice!!!!
That looks very "wet" what did you use for a LSP? Also, I see you used Ultrafina after the 205 and I see a lot of people just using 105/205 then top with lsp..any reason for the third step? Thanks!

P.S. I think you better allow a couple days to finish the Prevost Bus:buffing:

When I first saw this show and shine of the 2009 Escalade I hads to get up and walk away from my computer.....and go to the window and see if the good detail fairy just detailed my car. I have the exact same car. Than I realized that it was not the good detail fairy it was Dana the Asphalt Rocket and it was not my car that looked so good in the post but his customers car.
Well that set the wheels spinning in my head so i thought that with a little friendly cut and paste I bet I can convince my wife that this was a picture of our car and in order to keep the car looking as great as it does in the photo we /I need to get more stuff from AG right away!!!.
Don't cry Dana there is still a tooth fairy LOL

Thanks dad. The silver vette is a 67 big block car, numbers matching complete resoration, the Chevelle is an LS6 numbers matching car also.

Thanks, I should have posted more pics and done a better write up but was lazy this time. The reason for the UF step is that 205 does not finish as nice, the people that stop at 205 are leaving alittle on the table. It is hard to see in pics but in person there is a big difference. I dont think a couple days will get me past just the front of the Prevost. The LSP is Black-Fire wet Diamond Sealant.

Love the color on the Escalade, had a guy that brought one just like, same color to our classes back in California, was a really neat color because it does that color shifting thing but real dark and deep. Don't ever want to buff out an Escalade but admire the guys that can.

That shop is like a real life Matchbox Collection, I'll take this one, slap some makeshift fenders on it and put it on the street!

You did a really great job on the paint of that Escalade. I love that color, seeing the finished product. Even though it wasn't sunny in those outdoor pics, it looked amazing...very dark metallic, awesome wetness, deep reflections. Great job.

Great job Dana! Did the scratches come out of the escalade pretty easy?

Looks great Dana as always top notch work.Looks like you fixed you photo bucket problem.

Thanks Stu, hahaha-inside joke.

Thanks Gary, and that is just part of what he has.

I will take this one!

He also has a black one, so you have a choice.

Thanks Mike, it wasn't too bad. It does have the haed clear so the scratch down the whole driver's side and the one on the bumper were a paint but the rest came out with 205. I really like the color plus it has some silver metallic through out it and when the sun hits it, it looks reaaly nice.

I have to agree with you on the blown alcohol funny car, would be neat to drive it on the street. Have you diven one Mike. I used to drive a Pro Mod car, basically the samething but with a doorslammer body on it. Now that was fun.

Thanks, I really hate having to do pics when it is cloudy. It never shows the true finish and everything looks great when it is cloudy outside. This one really pops in the sun, like I was telling Mike above the metallic in it is awesome looking when the sun hits.

My son said you can detail his Escalade anytime .... of course its a wee-bit smaller and battery powered. Does a nice burnout on grass however. (smiles) --- Dana rocks !

Nice work Dana Esclade looks Sharp . I just did a 09 myself but white Mother of pearl . The truck was trasher inside and out. I almost killed myself trying to reach the middle of the roof they are so wide. Your work looks awesome. :dblthumb2: .One of these days I figure out how post pics.

Thanks Louie, 105 and a white Kompressor pad with a few passes and it was gone. Some spots had to use several passes.

Thanks Adam, well between yours and Josh's help I got it going again, a big THANK YOU to you two. Oh by the way thanks for calming me down the other night on the phone before I threw my computer-lol.

I am actually thinking of getting a 1 year old Escalade. That's why I was asking. If I do, it will probally need some work. I'm a little uneasy about buying a GM used. But those Cadillac's lose a ton of value when buying new.

AT first I told the owner I would never buy one of these since it took forever to wash, but once I was done that went away. I really like the truck, I am looking at suv's also. It would be between that and the new BMW X5 M.
