10 Month Update - BLACKFIRE One Step - BLACK 700 HP Hennessy Corvette

We machine polished this Corvette back in April of 2018. Here's 2 pictures and the link to the thread that documents this project.

700 HP Hennessy Vette and Jeep Cherokee - Waxed and Coated

After washing and claying the only other thing we did to the GM black paint on this Corvette was machine apply BLACKFIRE One Step.

Looks pretty good for a one-step cleaner/wax.

***UPDATE***

This car is back at Autogeek!

It is now March of 2019, which means 10 months have passed since we used BLACKFIRE One Step on this Corvette.

The car is dirty, she needs a good bath, but here's a few pictures I just took with the car parked right outside.

This is a regular driver, so by the sun shots above - I'd say she's looking very good.

Any beading left on her, Mike?

Ha ha....

I don't know. She's sittiing out front and I haven't touched her.

Sometime this week I will wash her. When I do, I can take a picture of any water beading as I spray off the heavy dirt.

She don't look bad in the pictures but she has a good dirt film on the sides and back of the car. I took this around 10:30am today.

Looks clean huh?

I just went out to the car and took these pictures. I actually did the writing too - about killed me...

For what it's worth - the paint felt slippery as I drug my finger over the layer or road film.

Never go by pictures - they don't always tell the accurate story.

You get shots of this after you rewashed it? Was the protection still there?

Talking about perfect timing!

Got a black one coming my way in about a week that looks like this. 707 Hp C06...

Will give BlackFire a shot. I would like to give it more protection tho...

Yes I took pictures after Yancy and I washed it for the video and YES water was still beading just fine by anyone's opinion.

Don't have the time to find the pictures, process them and the post them but I'll get to it.

We will take your word Sir.

I have my fathers 2005 Red 50th Anniversary Thunderbird to do and I been going back and forth with using a polish then FK 1000P, Mckee's 37 360 AIO, or the sample of the BlackFire One Step I just received. I know a few places I am going to have to go a little more aggressive then those.
