1932 Deuce Coupe Project Car - Candy Apple Red Paint

I try to have something "cool" for my students to work on for all my classes. For the Microfiber DA Correction System using Meguiar's and Optimum products were using a rental car that I'll be picking up today.

But for learning how to create a true show car finish we need something more than a new car, we need something special with swirls and it doesn't hurt if it has candy apple paint...


So for everyone that's attending this weekend's Detailing Boot Camp Class, here's your challenge, a 1932 Ford 3-Window Coupe with plenty of swirls in the paint...

Thanks Rich,

The finish is completely swirled-out so and we'll be tackling it on Sunday so it will be a fun car for everyone attending this weekend to put into practice what they learn in the class.

It should be here at Autogeek later today and hopefully in time to get some good "before" sun shots. If not I'll get them on Saturday.

Autogeek will be in Knoxville for the huge Subway Auto Expo June 15th to the 17th,

I'll be holding Mini Clinics. Be sure to stop by our booth and say "hi".

I should be there all weekend demonstrating.

As finalize the plans we'll post more info.


Just picked up the rental car, it's a black Impala with the normal tunnel wash brush scratches.

We'll be using the rental car for the Microfiber DA Correction System and switching over to foam pads with DA Polishers for this 1932...


Took some pics of the rental car, will add them in a few minutes...
