1940 Ford Coupe - Orange Blossom Special

Some cars really stand out. The paint is perfect. The interior is perfect. The trim is spotless, straight and perfect. Everything is perfect.

Here's and example... the owner David is a regular attender of all the local car shows here in the Stuart area including the Lew's Crew Tuesday night car show and Autogeek's Cars & Coffee Show.

I took a moment to take a few pictures of David's car to share....

Ah the good old reliable 283.Born in 1956 for the 57 model year.Lasted to the mid 60`s and one of the only Chevy iron blocks that can be safely bored .125 over (4 inch bore, 301 cubic inches ).After 1962 they were cast using the same core as the 327 only not bored to 4 inches.302, 327 and 350 all share the same 4 inch bore but different strokes. You don`t see enough of them anymore. Beautiful car.:dblthumb2:

That is an iconic ride Mike, thanks for sharing! I find the 40' Ford the best "Hot Rod" out there, sorry to the owners of 32' and 34' Fords but the 40' is just AWESOME!
