1946 Dodge Sedan - Original Paint

This all original 1946 Dodge still has its original paint. This is a local car that I'm working on tracking down the owner.

If anyone knows the owner please contact me.

***Bump***

Incredible news today.

I've been trying to locate the owner of this car for almost 2 years since first meeting him. I talk to all my local car buddies and they have not seen him. I leave voice mails with the only phone number I have for him and no return calls.

Then... Elliot comes walking into my office and asks me,

Would you be interested in a an old oxidized Dodge for a project car?

I stop him at that point, locate THIS THREAD and show it to him and he says,

Yep, that's my Grandpa's car!

Incredible.

Stay tuned...

Wow! Wow! Wow! . . . :wow:

Great news Mike, thats fantastic! :props: What an incredible car, it looks to be in super good shape all around. This car may not be everyone's cup of tea, heck, its cool but I don't see myself falling in love with it but BUT this is a 'Holy Grail' type of detailing find in my eyes! As you well know Mike, we share the love of working on single stage paint & even more so on antique single stage such as this survivor. :xyxthumbs:

I envy much of what you do Mike & this is no exception! I would love to be a part of this extremely rare opportunity. Absolutely outstanding Mike, congratulations on finally landing this big fish! :props: I know you won't leave us out too, Enjoy!

Maybe a little 110 and 210 along with #7. Good looking car can't wait..

Sad Update

So sad to say the owner sold this and shipped it out of state.

I put a lot of effort into tracking this car down and then getting it to Autogeek for a how-to video but alas - it was all for nothing.

Some people just want to see the world burn..

I know you’re always busy Mike and your time is valuable, but something tells me you would’ve buffed and restored this car’s paint for free!!
