1947 Chevy at Autogeek's Show Car Garage!

Lew stopped by today for a visit and we did a little project with his truck, (more on that later), just thought I would share a few pictures after the project while he was leaving...

Not too bad of a project actually, especially using rotary buffers...

This truck is so cool, besides looking cool it sounds good too with a built small block Chevy in it.

The paint has quite a few swirls and scratches in it and a few places with sanding marks still in the paint so we're going to address these after Detail Fest when we start doing some Saturday Detailing Clinics here at Autogeek instead of our Thursday Night, "Autogeek's Car of the Week" projects.

Thank for the post Jonathan, this same thread was more popular on both Detailing World and the Romanian forum I post to, the guys over there really appreciate classic iron...

When I saw the tittle (1947 Chev...), I sure wasn't ready for THIS!

I guess you could say i am a pre-1948 car nut. Spend most of my time at these shows and working on these type rides. We go to a show it usally about 5-10 cars that cruise together. Jonathan

Really? That WAS the '47?

Good grief Charlie Brown...that is one fantastic renovation!
