1954 Hudson Italia owned by Wayne Carini


This was really cool, on Thursday, the day after we shot our new segments for Wayne's show Chasing Classic Cars, Wayne took Nick and I to his house to share a few of his cars not at his shop.

One of these cars is a 1954 Hudson Italia. Hudson was going out of business and the Hudson Italia was a last ditch effort to try to revitalize the company. In 1953 Hudson build 25 of these cars and Wayne owns #13. The Hudson Italia didn't save the company and these cars are now very rare and the last offerings by the Hudson company before closing down.

The War of the Roses with Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner

The red car was you see with the car cover on it was the Morgan Plus Four Roadster that Michael Douglas drove in the movie "War of the Roses". If you've seen the movie you'll remember that Kathleen Turner drover over the car.

Wayne bought it, un-crumpled it and restored it.
