Here is my project from last weekend and delivered to the happy customer last night. Nothing special about the detail just the usual defects and a lot of paint shrinkage showing some of the body work sanding. It was an older restoration that is starting to show some wear, but as a new purchase for this owner he wanted it to look it's best.

The cool part? Big Block and a 4 speed! :dblthumb2:

The deck lid was kind of trashed and removing the emblem and license plate bracket made it much easier to correct.

I love the front end of a '55 Chevy!

This was a polish only, no interior, underhood, wheels, etc. detail. I wasn't planning on a full write up with good pictures, so I just took a few with my phone as I was working. The car is too cool not to share and the lumpy idle of the BBC was mesmerizing.:D

Thanks for looking,
Randy

Probably one of my fav muscle cars. I still remember the one from American Graffiti and it gives me goosebumps :)

Great work !!!!

Thanks! The American Graffiti and Two Lane Blacktop '55 Chevys are movie car classics. Christine, Vanishing Point, Hollywood Knights, Gone in 60 Seconds, Bullitt, etc. are all some of my favorites just because of the cars.

I'm not a member there, but I will refer the owner to that site. He just bought this car recently and has barely owned it long enough to enjoy it. I know he has some little things he wants to buy / do for the car, so that site will come in handy.

Thanks!

Randy
