Hey everyone! I detailed a 308GTS this week and made a 5 minute video documenting the process. The video is for a film class I'm taking. First time doing a detailing video so I had some fun with it.

I ended up using the Rupes LHR15 MKII and Flex PE8 + 3401. I also polished many spots by hand. Pads used were Meguiar's maroon foam cutting discs, Lake Country black Hybrids, Buff and Shine Grip Pads, Griot's Garage orange 3 inch foam pads, and 2 + 1 inch Flex pads (PE8). Products used were HD Cut and CarPro Essence.

I'll keep this post short. Here are some snapshots for those who can't see the video.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks guys!

I assume if it was original paint it was single stage? Any trouble coating?

Yes it was original single stage paint minus the front bumper lip which was resprayed recently. A bloodbath to work with polishing wise but it didn't create any issues for me when coating.

DAMN HARIS!!!! EXCELLENT VIDEO BRO!!!!

Seriously, that's some amazing video. I was engaged for the entire 5 minutes. All the shots were excellent and enticing. Music was great and appropriate.

BTW, nice job on the detail too hehehe!

I don't know how you do all this detailing and have time to study and do projects all at the same time. Great job on that!

Great work and I'm really digging that video. I actually watched the entire thing - the shots were awesome and you synced up that music perfectly for the cuts.

Is that a "Biff's Auto Detailing" shirt? If so I have one of those too

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Always appreciate the support Marc. I will admit it's tough juggling school work and detailing work, but it will all be worth it when I open my shop :)

Yup! Good eye. I was hoping someone would catch that. 2 coats of wax every time!

How do you like the MF Madness Wash Mitt?

I love that mitt. It's very light and easy to move around when wet.

Awesome video harris! Between filming and doing the actual work at the same time...... don't know how you do it so well....

Awesome video and great work on that Italian single stage Rossa Corsa paint!

Thank you all :)

Awesome work on the Ferrari and fantastic video prod... I loved the throw back mention to Magnum PI!

How long did the entire job take?

Probably around 12-14 hours for the actual detail work. The video stuff took another 3 hours I'd say.

Awesome Video... My neighbor Scott recently had to do the same thing for U of H. Glad they are making you guys learn these skills now. Your detailing is on point too.

Great video Haris. I really appreciate being able to see the documentation of your work. Guys like you, Marc and Richy. I give you all props because it's so much work documenting.
