The Buick was revisited back in early December for a pre-sale demo and auto show, so the owner called me again to make it look the best possible. This car hasn’t been washed since the last time I washed it back in October. Now, as you will see, the car is covered in dust, scratches, swirls and holograms that were not taken out before and they need to be out! My process was the following:

Wash wheels and wheel wells with Dr. Mecanico APC(Local brand)
Wash with Meguiars NXT soap
Polish with OP and LC Orange with the PC
Wax with Liquido Souveran Policharged version
After 12 hours, a coat of OCW to seal the shine of LS
Tires dressed with Crystal Tire shine(local brand)

This is the day started for me(remember this is December)

And this is the condition of the car before

Now, this is some weird $#!t for most of you. This is actual wild lizard doo-doo making company to the good ole’ bird crap

Some more damage, you can actually see the holograms

I then started to work on the wheels. Dr. Mecanico was used full strength to make sure the tires were clean. In this pic you can see the APC working on getting the crud and dirt out of the wheel

And here’s right after a good scrub and drying

After this proceeded to wash the car and dry thoroughly, polish it with OP and an orange flat pad, which left the finish like this

That is after polishing, but before waxing.

Now after a hards day work, I applied the Souveran by hand and let it cure overnight. The owner came the next day at 9am to pick it up and take it to the auto show, but before he left, I applied a quick coat of OCW leaving the car looking like this

Afters

And to end it, 2 reflex shots. First one at the trunk lid and the last one the owner looking at the finish while I take the pic

Gotta love this one

Tough duty, I'm sure you'll be delighted to know we're up to our ears with snow in NE Ohio  Hey, everybody can't live in paradise, there isn't enough room!

Nice job on the Buick!

Nice weather, where are you located at?
Heck of a job on that paint, customer must have been very happy!

Wait I remember now you are in PR enjoying great weather 365 days out of the year!

Very nice work. The last pict is great. :)

Thanks! It's my favorite pic of all!

Thanks TL! I used to live in Ohio, so I know how is it to be like that, but right now, I wouldn't trade what I have now for what you have. Too comfortable wearing shorts:D

Yes Meghan, PR is awesome! We rarely, and I mean rarely, get cool weather. The lowest it has gotten here in PR was like 37 and it was at almost 5,000ft above sea level. The customer was really happy with the depth souveran gave the paint. Pics don't do justice, plus, add to that that the body shop made an almost perfect paint job, it barely has any orange peel.

Thanks for the compliments!

Looks great Bigfoot, Me llamas cuando estas en Tampa.....Angelo....

Came out very nice. They were some hot Buicks they made back then. You're lucky to have nice weather all year long, while all us poor north easterners are dealing with small snow storms what seems like every week. But again, some fine work you've done. Congrats.
