Nothing crazy here. Just did a wash and wax on this car to prep it for winter. It is garage kept but the owner says he takes it out in winter when the roads aren't a mess. It is all original will under 10k miles. I went down to inspect the car a few days ago and found it to have neglected paint with swirls everywhere, TOGW EVERYWHERE, some stains on the hood and around the convertible top (maybe from some kind of dressing on the top?) and some deeper scratches. Good news is I'm confident I can restore it, and will be given the opportunity in the spring. I told the owner I would like to keep the car for 3-4 days. The car is passed on from his dad, the original owner, and he wants to spend the money to bring it back to as good condition as possible.

I will also be doing at least one other Porsche for this client, but he wanted the Rolls taken care of first, so without further ado...

CG Diablo on wheels.
Citrus degreaser on tires.
APC on arches.
Top cleaned with Raggtopp.
Foam and wash with CG Citrus Wash.
Decontaminate with Speedy Prep.
11% IPA wipe down.
Sealed with Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Paint Sealant.
Leather cleaned and conditioned with PBL Hide Soft cleaner, then conditioner.
Metal hand polished with CG Vintage Metal Wax.
PB Natural Shine on top
PB Bold n Bright on tires.

I forgot my camera but took some iPhone pics.

Gorgeous! Looks great! I think I'm in a minority, but I just love cars from the 80's, including rolls!

Nice!

... is that your Optima SX in the background?

Haha yup, it's become my mobile detailing rig. Last week I drove about 45 minutes to do a winter prep on a range rover and realized I left my sealants at home. I had to drive all they way back to pick up my Powerlock.... D'oh

Love those cars... almost got a blue one, but decided it was too big for my taste so I ended up with my Lexus.
