The last few months have been extremely busy, so I'm pretty backlogged on photos as I have not as much time to be on the forums as I'd like. This IROC was completed a couple months ago when the weather was still nice in CA.

The owner of this car was looking to get the paint perfect after having a full repaint done. He is restoring the car and is nearly finished, so he wanted the paint to look perfect. The bodyshop had left their usual marks that needed sorting out. The owner is a successful engineer and not your typical IROC owner. His taste in other vehicles was quite nice. This particular car had significant sentimental value to him, so it had to be done right.

Total time spent: 37 hours

Thanks for viewing!

The plastic on the front end came out great, no wavy areas in the headlamp buckets.
Beautiful work!

That car came out great, was it basecaot/clearcoat?

Always wondered why the convertables had 16" wheels and coupes came with 17's, even continued on into the 90's F-bodies too. Also, since its an 89' wondered if you came across any Poison or Guns-N-Roses cassettes, LOL!

Thanks! The restoration was being done "right" and time was taken to make sure everything was perfect.

Yes, base/clear. Thanks!

LOL no old rock cassettes....no dash or interior save for the drivers seat so it could be moved around.

Just superb work. Alot of steps but the end result looks great. Hard to tell but the orange peel looked marginally bad but maybe it was just the close up photograph. Sweet car! Somebody's gett'n a nice ride.

nice work. I had an 89 and a 91 of that vintage. I have a soft spot for those cars. I LOVED mine. Not much of a fan of the convertible but still nice work pal. Glad to see one living to see another day

brings back memories of graduating HS and going to College. Had a couple of the f-bodies including the Iroc-Z and Formula's. Nice work.

Wow was that swirled out!! Nice turn around. With only the drivers seat in it seems like it may be a little hard to pick up the "chicks" with.

Great work. I had 2 IROC's ('86 & '87). They will always be one of my favorite cars, even though both that I had were pieces of junk....like many 80's GM cars. I still like the styling of the IROC and T/A GTA.
