I completed a 2 stage correction on this 1993 Nissan Skyline. The car had heavy scratches, a lot of swirling but was in reasonable shape. This was a close friend of mine so I gave him the deal of the year. Him and I decontaminated used clay mitt and ONR as clay lube. Than we doubled checked to make sure it was clean and clear and ready for polishing. Time for prepping and than polishing.

I compounded using either a rotary with wool pad, or rupes mark 2 lhr21 paired with an MF cutting disk and Menzerna FG400. Each panel was roughly 2 to 4 passes to get the bulk of the big scratches out. Some areas I spent a little extra time but it was a breeze to compound. Love menzerna fg400. BEST COMPOUND in my opinion. After compound, I polished the entire vehicle using the rupes 21 paired with a yellow foam pad or my Porter cable paired with a green chemical guys foam pad and Menzerna SF3800 polish. Helped remove buffer haze and I was really surprised how easily both machine were able to clean up the mess left with the MF and wool pads. I than wiped the entire vehicle down with CarPro Eraser and finished it off with Collimate s476 WAX. Overall put 10 hours Into the car and was extremely happy with the outcome. The car looks great and my buddy is ready for show time. Thanks for looking everyone.[/FONT]

Very nice work! Good job capturing those before and afters. I got a chance to correct two r32's myself last week. Awesome little cars.

Nice!! Did that black rub/scratch come off the trunk?
