I am preparing my 1997 F350 dually for sale. 7.3 Powerstroke diesel, 132,000 miles. I take good care of it, but it has been parked outside 24/7 since I bought it 7 or 8 years ago. So far I have spent 9 hours over the last 2 nights detailing it.

First evening was thorough wash, in which I decontaminated with clay mitt, scrubbed tires, cleaned wheel faces, and scrubbed black plastic trim on bumpers.

Last night I used HD Speed on the hood, driver fender, driver door, headlights, and all exterior lenses. I put HD poxy on the hood, and collinite 845 on the roof and grille. I dressed the tires with Carpro pearl neat, and the front bumper trim with Wolfgang ets. I couldn't work on the rear bumper because the truck is too long to totally fit in my garage and it was lightly raining.

I will be working on the truck as time permits. I will update the thread with pics when I am finished.

Here are a couple of pics of my progress so far.

it will pay off

There aren't many of these trucks in my area in this good of shape, so I am hoping to get a good price for it. It has an aftermarket intercooler (not available from factory on pre- 99 Fords), downpipe and exhaust, DP tuner, transportation cooler, Tymar air intake, and set of gauges on the pillar.

looks good...should bring a good price...best of luck with the sale

It's the motor that will make the truck see quickly.I would post that up on central dispatch.its a hot shot trucking forum, that you can post trucks and trailers on there.I meant sell in the beginning para.or take it to Walmart or Home Depot with a for sale sign on it.
