Customer brought me his 1999 Dodge that was just a mess.
A lot of scratches, water spots and severe oxidation.
Truck hadn't been washed in months.

Washed using Dawn and Meguiar's APC
Using my Kobalt DA Air Sander, I first wet sanded using 1500 grit followed my 3000 grit.

At this point most of the scratches were gone, left the paint flat and smooth.

Here's what it looked like when it came in.

First compounded using my DeWalt 849x along with a wool pad and Meguiar's 105.
Step two I used my Flex 3401 along with a Lake Country White Flat Pad using Meguiar's 205

Last step..

Duragloss 601 followed by 105

Here's the finished product...

Thanks for taking time to look at my work.

Kevin

Nice turn around on that one! I am sure the client was really happy with those results.

Very much so.
He told me he was hoping just to see an improvement but didn't think he'd get these results.
Customer was very excited , so was I. :dblthumb2:

He decided the truck didn't need to be repainted.

Kevin, WOW, that is really nice work my friend...

Not sure that is the same truck in the after pictures. Fantastic job.

Thanks guys:dblthumb2:

Yep,same truck.
I still get amazed at what modern products, tools can do for us who correct paint.
So many choices:dblthumb2:

Dang! Impressive. That's more work than I would be willing to go through for an old Dakota, but you made it look brand new. Thanks for posting!
