Can't find the answer to this question. I have the Original PC 7424 (not XP). Been sitting in my garage for over 10 years now collecting dust. It's been used maybe 4 - 5 times.
Just thinking of what to do with this gutless wonder since I just got the GG 6" . I saw a thread where Mike said a smaller backing plate & pad could be used on the original PC & the pad might actually turn.
The thought occurred to me to put a 2 7/8" bp & use 3" pads for small areas.
Will this work? Would the pad really turn or would I just be wasting my time?
