Anyone wish to fly down to Deep South Texas and assist me detailing this truck? :D

I did not think so. :( At least my friend Rick will be driving here in the morning. We will clean the engine. After that, I will have to clean each of the wheels, clay the truck and POSSIBLY compound it. I will have to wax it on Sunday.

These are just the BEFORE pictures:

btw- it's an '01 with over 136k miles. Farm & hunting truck a lawyer owns.

Wow, that truck looks nasty! Show us the afters once you are done. You will have to do one hell of a car wash just to get that baby clean.

Here are pictures of the interior. I've taken care of 90% of the interior today. I will finish the rest of the interior this evening.

Well, if you didn't mention the PC in the other room, I would not have remembered. I just went outside and cleaned the seats and carpet again. The interior looks MUCH BETTER now.

See. You did not even have to come down here to assist me.

I will post pictures by Monday.

Thanks bud. I wish I could get more for the job but, since he is a high end lawyer here in this area, he knows MANY PEOPLE that he will send my way.

Please be advised, everyone, this will NOT be a full 100% detail. This vehicle will be on the sale market as soon as I'm done with it. He does not expect a perfect detail on the truck. Although, I can't help it if I do a 100% detail to it. he he he My body shop bud refered this client to me since he knows what I can do. Im the MAN I'm an invisable person doing this kind of work down here. Well, Rick does one HECK of a job detailing as well. He is always showing me different ways of doing things. See ya tomorrow Rick.

Well, I did the interior yesterday evening. I still have a few touch-ups to complete. The engine was done this morning and I forgot to take pictures of it just now. Oh well. You will be able to see it later. I have washed and clayed it this morning. I've added those pictures in this e-mail. You really can not see any difference after the clay job was completed. The was alone brought out the true color of the F-150. This set of pics are the interior.

Now, here are pics of the trucks exterior. I washed the engine (pics not taken yet. my bad), the exterior and also clayed it. I was going to do more work on it BUT, my wonderful step-father decided to go into the driveway and start the lawnmower. Could you say I was just a lil TICKED OFF?!?!?!?!?!?! Once he did that, I started the truck and moved it away. I will not be able to finish working on it till later this afternoon when I can stick it back under the carport to cool the exterior down.

wow I am glad the PC did such a good job on those carpets :D

I look forward to the after polishing pics! This generation for F-series is a favorite of mine :)

Well, wouldn't you know. My step-father asked me if it was too hot outside to continue working on the F-150. I said, uh, NO. YOU made me stop working since YOU decided to start the lawn mower right next to the truck. I advised him that there was no way I could jump back to working on the truck until the sun was hidden by the trees since the 10 x 10 canopy is too small for a 4 x 4 truck. Once I place the truck back into the driveway, I will have to rinse the whole truck and continue to clay the remaining parts of it. After that, I will bit the hood of the truck with my flex buffer. I will have to compound it with a yellow bad and Menzerna Super Intensive Polish. After that I will use, a Menzerna from a different provider, Menzerna Final Polish II. Not sure what pad I will use yet.

yellow pad eh? you should look into wool pads for your flex. I am finding that anything involving a pad around yellow, I get better results with wool.

WHY do you keep doing that? LOL PM me a link to the item you use.

Here are more pics of the truck after I compounded the passenger side today. I will compound the driver side tomorrow and do its 2nd polish.

Please be advised that I have not touched up any of the trucks exterior yet. :Picture:

Moved all of the pictures to the completed section
