It was a nice weekend and my buddy wanted me to detail his new toy he just got. I decided to try my new Zaino products to see what all the hype was about and use my buddy's car as the guinea pig. Overall I am impressed with the Zaino line and when I was done with my friends ride so was he. I only did the exterior and will do the interior on a different weekend. Please let me know what you all think. Mike...

Wash Process
-Dawn wash
-Clay (pinnacle ultra-poly)
-Z7 rewash

Wheels
-Simple Green (APC)/ Z7 wash
-Z AIO
-Z-CS
-Z-16 (tires & trim)
-No touch (wheel wells)

Paint
-PB SSR3 (PC/Orange LC pad)
-Z-PC (PC/White LC pad)
-Z5 pro/ZFX x2
-Z-CS (on paint, trim, windows after AIO)
-Z AIO (windows then topped w/ CS)

Please excuse my picture taking abilities, still learning and any advise would be appreciated.

That's all folks!!!!

i cant believe how shiney the rims are now! they look just like the paint on the car! nice job! it looks like that car was in serious need of a buff!

Thank you Tj, It really was needing some TLC!!! Mike...

mmmm...rusty. I hate when the rotor's rust after a wash...I cringe when I think the first time I hit the brakes, it's going all over the wheels. Good Job on the detail!

Strokin, that is some amazing work! I really like the Zaino line-up as well and still use Z2 Pro as my sealant as it lasts longer than anything I have my arsenal!

BTW: probably my favorite Porsche of all times!

haha, thats one of my favorite porsche body's too! i did, however, watch a carrera gt pull out of its spot and drive past work two days ago...

the ride came out awesome. if you love that zaino sealant, you should REALLY consider the WG Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. others will agree with me, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

Strokin, you really up the level on the paint. The reflection jumps out. Awesome work. What was the process on the headlights? Looks like they have been polish and sealed.
Reflection shot, you got to love it.

Sparkie - The headlights had alot of hazing so I used the PC w/ LC orange pad and PB SSR3. After a few passes they became clear again and I polished with Z-PC then sealed with same process I used on the paint. I need to order the XMT4 to compare it to SSR3 because I really like how XMT2 works with the PC. Thanks for compliments, Mike...

Very nice detailing buddy, wow. Just look at the paint such a difference. Very nice shine you got from that silver color too.

I've never used zaino sealant but I would agree with bambo2888 about WG Deep Gloss Paint Sealant, I've used it and it's wicked sealant. But I would like to try some zaino products. I've heard good things from them.

The vehicle by it's self is gorgeous and with the detail you did very nice.

Thanks for sharing and I enjoyed your method, before and after...very nice.

Very Nice Strokin! I'm sure you buddy will enjoy it. I hate it will the rotors get rusty after washing the wheels.

loooks guud !!! One tip next time take the car around the block before picture time and ride the brakes to remove that awful rust from the wash. Looks good in the sunlight !!!
