hey bro why don't you list your process anymore??? and show some before pics. and those Bimmers got Alabama booties!!!
 
Im gettin really lazy, sorry guys, I really will try to get it up..... I cant believe I just said that hahaa...
I need to take before pics, I dont know why I never think to take out the camera until I think "damn that looks good"
 
good stuff man, thats a sharp color, looks flawless too, thats a crazy hood shot. Why do you tape the moldings, I thought they were painted to match? Do they get messed up easily?
 
Do you know anyone that doesn't drive an M3?

Looking good there FMINUS, I'd be very interested on the process too but it does take time to set the write up....so I understand where your coming from.

I am using a Rotary polisher, so its to protect the trim/moldings from getting burned

8 buckets haha, the buckets are for different towels to soak after I use them! Not for washing.

And I will try with the pics, I usually am too tired/lazy for pics, after Im done with the car I leave it in the garage until the customer comes to pick it up, then they just drive off. I dont want it to get dusty so I dont leave it outside.

That engine bay came out excellent. That's the weak point on my detailing skills; engine bays :D
BTW, I love that Laguna Seca Blue M3 Bimmer in your stable, by far my favorite bimmer ever! :cheers:
 
I thought you had a hitachi. Just wondering, how come you bought the metabo when you had the hitachi ???

the Hitachi was a little heavy, and I didnt like the trigger to start the thing. But after thinking about it, I kind of miss it and was thinking about buying another one. haha
 
Cause I was looking to buy a rotary and it was between the Hitachi and the metabo. Lets just say you friend had both the Hitachi and the Metabo and you tried both, then you thought about getting one. Which one would you have got ???

Hitachi is cheaper, and has the speed dial on top which is more convenient

The Metabo is lighter, has a better located on/off switch, and can get a little hot under low speeds.

I prefer the Metabo hands down, but I would understand if someone chose the Hitachi over the Metabo.
 
Sorry if I keep asking question, but is the correction of the metabo any better or faster then the hitachi ???
