Its been a while since I have really posted any of the cars I have been working on, but this one just looked really nice in the end product.

This was a 2002 Suzuka Blue S2000 that the owner just wanted to see it as it has never been seen before. We settled on my Concours detail package with a leather restoration.

the car was delivered and I got to work. Here it is just after delivery.

Beautiful Simmons wheels that needed some attention

The exterior was cleaned with several steps that included:
Degreasing with P21S TAW
Engine cleaning with P21S TAW
Door shuts / fuel filler / boot lid cleaning with P21S TAW
Convertible top cleaning with Raggtopp cleaner
Wash with Werkstat Auto Body Wash
Wheels cleaned with P21S wheel cleaner
Body decontaminated with Iron X
Clayed with Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay and Pinnacle Clay Lubricant

After all was said and done, the car was moved inside and the interior was up next.

Here are some shots of the interior before and after cleaning

Carpets were in need of a good cleaning

The seats were in need of restoration. They had started to become discolored and had a lot of ground in oils and grime.

Seats were treated to Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil for 24 hours then cleaned with Pristine clean and warm water.
Here they are letting all those lovely oils soak in.

Unfortunately the after pictures just did not turn out, but they show up good in the video I will post at the end.

After the interior was finished, it was time to get polishing!
Here she is already to go!

During the polishing, I noticed the lights were just a bit hazy, so I decided to clear them up a bit.
Here is the left tail light which has not been done and the right one which has.

I polished the whole car using white Lake Country Kompressor pads and Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0.
The S2000 has a pretty soft paint, and the Total Swirl Remover is a fantastic product in that it allows me to really custom tailor it to the job and needs at hand.

Here is the back of the car all finished.

The car had a lot of old caked on wax around the vehicle. Under the fuel filler it seems half a can of paste wax was living in there!

IMG_31071.jpg

The Wax was cleaned with a low ratio of Meguiar's D103 and some gentle scrubbing.

After the cleaning, the fuel filler area was coated with Klasse All In One, and after a nice cure, Poorboy's EX-P.

After many hours of polishing with the Total Swirl Remover, here is the result before any LSPs were applied.

Of course, the custom exhaust was also cleaned and polished.
Here is before.

And after being cleaned with D103, 0000 Steel wool and then polished with Chemical Guys Metal Polish & Sealant.

After many hours of work, it is finished.
Paint was protected with Werkstat Acrylic Prime then a coat of Acrylic Jett.
Convertible top was protected with Raggtopp Vinyl protectant.
Rubber was protected with 303 Aerospace Protectant
Tyres were protected with SONAX Tire Gloss Gell
Wheels were Cleaned with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Regular and protected with Swissvax AutoBahn
Glass was cleaned with DP Krystal Vision

Here are some after pictures!

Overall the car turned out fantastic and the owner was extremely happy. As of the last time I talked to him, he has barely driven it and just sits and looks at it in the garage haha.

It was a joy to make someone fall in love with their vehicle all over again!

Thanks for your time and checking out the work.

Here is the video to the job.

Fantastic!!
Dont think I've ever seen that color interior...

Perfect! That interior looks so much better after a cleaning. Those dirty blue seats made the interior look old and nasty. Overall though, looks like the owner did a pretty good job taking care of his ~10 yr. old car. With your touch, the thing looks brand spanking new. Nice!

Thanks for the comments everyone. much appreciated! =D
