Hi all,

Just a normal winter prep. This thing was pretty dirty and in desperate need of a clay and wax. It turned out pretty nice and now he is prepared to face the snowy winter ahead (we go some flurries today!). Also did a few interior bits. Just vacuumed and conditioned the leather.

Process:

-Foamed with mixture of CG HoneyDew and APC
-Washed with CG HoneyDew and microfiber mitts
-Wheels cleaned with SONAX Wheel Cleaner, Wheel Woolies and various brushes
-Fenders cleaned with OPC 1:10 and dressed with CarPro Perl 1:3
-Clayed with Nanoskin fine grade wash mitt (first time using this product and it was awesome) and ONR as clay lube
-Sealed with Menzerna Power Lock
-Tips polished with 0000 steel wool, P21S Finish Restorer and waxed with Collinite 850
-Tires dressed with Opti-Bond tire gel
-Leather treated with CG leather conditioner
-Glass treated with AquaPel
-Trim treated with CarPro Perl 1:3

And on to the pictures:

Ready for winter

It was my first time using Power Lock and the Nanoskin and I was impressed with both. Power Lock went on and came off easy and left a good shine. I will be following up with the customer to see how it holds up. The Nanoskin was definitely a good addition to the arsenal. Finished claying the whole car in about 20 minutes. It took a ton of time off of the process which is awesome.

Thanks for looking!

Since this is a silver car with relatively harder paint, I'm sure you had no issue with the nanoskin mitt... but, I will say that IME with softer, darker paint, I have noticed slight marring (very easily removed with a fine polish). So if you are going to use the nanoskin mitt without polishing, just be extremely careful.

Car looks good though! Nice work.

Yeah thats what I figured. This thing had never been detailed in its life and barely had any swirls. So I figured it would be safe to test out the new Nanoskin. I have read it does mar a bit so I was cautious to pick out what car I would test it on.
