This quick detail was needed in order for the owner to get it ready for eBay. Eric and Bradley decided on a quick foam wash with DP Extreme Foam and a quick degreasing and cleaning of the wheels, tires, and wells. Products used on the exterior include orange citrus cleaner, MEG’S wheel brightener 4:1 and formula (21) degreaser. After quick wipe down of the exterior the interior was dusted free of debris and scuffs were wiped down with MEG’S QID. The interior glass was cleaned with Surf City and doors were shut and it was time to try out 3M’s UltraFina SE. We didn’t really know what the polish had in store for this white paint but after trying a 2x2 on the passenger door it was plain to see this is a great light surface polish. By that I mean, if the paint has light micro marring or light swirling I feel confident this could bring any clearcoat back to life.

After the whole vehicle was polished using the Flex and white polishing pad, we decided to go with opti-seal using the cyclo. If you’re in a need to cover some ground quick with the LSP this things walks over all other polishers. As the sun started setting Bradley applied the MEG’S Hyper Dressing via (Air Spray Gun) and some quick pics were taken.

Enjoy!

Great job! Paint looks great, trim and wheels too! Thanks for sharing!

Man.......those tires, wells, and wheels steal the show!

Awesome job guys.

looks like you used the Flex and the cyclo, heh how much time did those save you on that behemoth?

If that's your "quick detailing", I'd like to see your full boat job. Beautiful work.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. It was great trip down to work with Bradley. We found quickly that we have some of the same methods and we also compromised on things we do in sequence during the wash cycle. All in all it's great to see what other detailers practice, because we all can learn something from someone else.

ehuth1, thanks a ton for the short clip. I have been contemplating trying a paint gun for water based dressing for a while and was waiting for someone to try it.

Thank Bradley it's his creative way of layering tire shine perfect!
