This is job #2 he is a friend of mine and is involved in Greyhound rescues like I am. So his interior was trashed from doing hauls, meeting the hounds on the interstate from the haulers to take them back to our local Greyhound central and get them ready for their forever home.

Sorry for the lack of pictures he arrived around 8am and it took most of the day for the interior. The exterior was clayed and carnauba waxed. Here we go before..

Drivers side floor mat had to fist sized holes in it.

Hair fully embedded. Luckily he lays the back seat down and covers it with a comforter but his own personal Grey is a fawn (white and tan).

Starting to gut it

Even the center console and arm rest attachment accessory came out.

Rear lower seat bottom. I even took the mounting bar that mounts the upper split seat backs out for a scrub.

Spare tire and foam storage holders came out.

Fully gutted

I started with the pumice stone, worked pretty well.

Took "Oh $hit" handles out to get clean and vacuum hair off headliner.

AFTER vacuum, BLGM, Simple Green APC (dog drool and funk) followed by Mother's VLR and Stone's Glass cleaner

All interior plastic pieces scrubbed with Simple Green. Interior fabric scrubbed, shampooed and drying while I tackle the outside.

Before tire and wheel well dressing, I was running out of light fast.

I forgot to mention while the interior was out and I was cleaning the outside. When I was done I started it up and moved her back up the driveway. Everything was great he came and picked it up and loved it. About two minutes after he left he came back and said we have a problem. I said oh crap did I forget to tighten down a seat....

Nope the Air Bag light is on!!! So I disconnected the negative cable on the battery waited 5-10 minutes and nothing. Googled a key trick combo with the maintenance button... nada.

I said ok let me do some research and off he went. So I am looking online and nothing is out there. For the heck of it I called two different Toyota Dealers and they told me no easy fix bring it in and we'll reset it. Great how much...............$105!!!!!!!!!

So I called my bud who is a manager at a local repair shop. He said bring it in shouldn't be more than $50.. Ok great so he's taking it today and I hope this fixes it.

The computer must have freaked out when I started it with nothing plugged in from either seat since they were drying outside.... FML!

Good job. Airbag lights are always a possibility if you take out the seats and turn the car on. It's usually from the occupant sensor in the seat being disconnected triggering a code. You'll just need someone with the appropriate scanner to reset the light.

$80 and it was fixed. The sensor connectors had to be re-seated a few times and now it's fixed. I told him as long as I maintain it the seats are never coming back out... :)
