2007 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4x4

Well, some of you know that I have a very good contact with one of the main body shops down here in the Rio Grande Valley. The owner of the shop died back on March 1st. My very good friend ran the body shop for well over 10 years. I sent him clients for body work and he referred people to me to have vehicles detailed.

His son wanted me to detail his fathers 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4x4. Well, there is one lil catch to it. His dad passed away due to cancer since he smoke about 2 packs a day. Many of it was inside the Tahoe, or what ever vehicle he had in the past. MY PROBLEM IS, I can’t smell. LOL….. This was a very good challenge for me to get it ready to be sold. Dang….. I guess I’m selling vehicles too. HA HA HA…..

Needless to say, they had a few cities under contact. he he he....

Of course I'm going to put my banner on my clients vehicles when they want me to try and sell them as well. Heck, I was able to get that '89 Jaguar XJS Convertibel and '91 BMW 850I sold to the same person down in Mexico. I get business on both sides of things. :xyxthumbs:

The body shop has contracts with local, county and state city & police vehicles.

Well, the owner must have hit a tree or something that caused a bit dent in that area. They just correctred the problem and I took the "L" off when I clayed it. Wonderful.... They will fix it.

Nice and clean evening for the Tahoe after just hitting 49k miles.

The interior was my hardest part not being able to smell anything

Again, I need to learn how to re-dye carpets and seats to really correct these kind of problems.

Looks good! rops: Did you have an LSP or did you just use the Optimum Instant Detailer after polishing?

I just used the Optimum. It's detailing purpose is to sell the vehicle. Heck. That Tahoe looks better then many NEW vehicle on lots down here.

BTW, I think you put the passenger side front floor mat in upside down.

oh. lol I just yanked them out and used the extractor with a lil Meg APC+ to make them look so much better.

Well, I had to let several people smell the inside of the vehicle, young and old. Many say it smelt like new. Some could catch a very small amount of cig smell. In fact, I think I added a few clients by showing it off at a liqure store yesterday evening. LOL farmer folks who are tired of taking their vehicles to all the hole in the wall car wash/detail places here in the Deep South. Nice having those banners on clients vehicles when I have the vehicles for several days. Im the MAN

I just ordered a Odor Removal machine today. Once it arrives, I will use it inside the Tahoe. I will not even try to drive the Tahoe for a few days since it's nice and clean. lol Im the MAN

WOW!!!! My odor removal fogger arrived this morning. I used it on the Tahoe and WOW!! That was nice, quick and easy. I kept all the doors closed and the engine off. I held it inside the vehicle, with one door open, I sprayed it for about 15 minutes. After I was done, I had the guys working at the body shop to come over and take a smell. They all advised me it smelt fresh and clean. I ran it a 2nd time with the engine AND the a/c on. I sprayed it for 15 minutes again. Everyone smelt it again and advised me it smelt nice and clean.

After everything was wiped down, I did a 2nd run. This time, the engine was running and the a/c was on. I ran it another 15 minutes just like the 1st time. Everyone came back and took another smell. They all advised me the cig smell was gone. It comps not being able to smell anymore. ugh

No no..... You, and no one else, nothing that will affect me at all. Everything is within my own thoughts. For some reason, the people up North were not ready for me and I'm still trying to figure it out myself. I'm just up-set and depressed that it did not happen back in 2001.

I just have to keep on going day by day.
