I bought a PC 7424 with the Pinnacle combo from AG about a week ago and tried it out yesterday. The truck is garage kept with 90,000 miles on it but is used everyday and hauls the 5th wheel also. Didn't turn out bad for a 7 year old truck from Michigan. It wasn't in bad shape to begin with. I used Pinnacle advanced swirl remover with an orange pad, Pinnacle finishing polish with white pad, and Souveran wax with a red pad. This was my first time using a D/A but I will buy and use more pads next time. Maybe try a different polish or wax also. What's the best for silver paint?

Best is relative imo. The prep work such as polishing is what really helps. If I were you, apply a ceramic coating like Optimum Gloss Coat, CQuartz UK, or C.A.R Bulletproof.
 
I have a 2008 2500.

I use Blackfire Wet Diamond topped with Black Ice.

Next go round will be Collinite 845 possibly topped with 476.
