This was a project that was special for me and special for the owner. The truck belong to the owner's father who was living in Texas and recently passed away. He flew to Texas and brought the Ridgeline back to the Bay Area here in Hercules where I live. He's a weekly customer with his wife and co-worker at my parents' restaurant which I also work at for my normal day job. He's actually had me work on his wife's Nissan Rouge interior before and liked the results. The Ridgeline came in from Texas full of bug and tar deposits. Bugs all along the front end and tar all along the door panels. The truck has been detailed in its life except for a few washes at a local car wash. I told the guy I would take care of it for him because it meant a lot. I detailed with the following supplies:

Interior:
MetroVac & Go
Turtle Wax ICE Interior Detailer
M103 for the floor mats.

Exterior:
Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss (2 bucket method)
ECO Touch Wheel Cleaner
Mothers brushes
M103 for heavily soiled areas and bed area
CarPro TR.IX tar and iron remover
Mothers Clay Bar kit
Pinnacle waterless wash for door jambs
Griots Garage Under Carriage Spray
Turtle Wax Trim Restore
Turtle Wax tire shine
Mothers step 1 pre-wax cleaner
Collinite 845

Tools:
Porter Cable 7424XP
LC 6.5 inch CCS white polish pad
Cobra Cross Groove red finishing pad
Assorted brushes to clean badges and gas cap area

I know you guys hate Turtle Wax, but some of their products are actually pretty good.

Outstanding work!!!

I know there is a lot of talk about what products are the "best" but the way I look at it is if you are getting the results you want with those products, then those are the "best" for you.

Thank you. That job actually took me a couple of days all together. The owner was out of town and left the truck with me for the week. I took probably more than 10 hours because I was just taking my time, no rush for anything. I just made sure to make it look brand spankin' new. TW ICE gave me just the right strength of cleaning because the inside was very pristine still. Great AIO for the interior in my view and makes the car smell new. I stopped using the F21 protectant because it is too greasy and reflects in my front windscreen.

Nice Work!

Thank you.

The after shots hurt my eyes!! Great work!

Thanks, the real thing really did hurt your eyes. I stared at it in the sun and after awhile, my eyes hurt too! It was solid white.

I've just had really good luck with some of those Turtle Wax products doing what I needed them to do. I figured that since the truck was so bright, might as well make the tires bright as well with the Turtle Wax tire shine. I like to mix 'n' match my product lines and haven't had many issues so far. Collinite 845 was a no brainer for my LSP especially for a vehicle parked outside. My first time using 845 was over a #3 Machine Glaze from Meg's and that was on my dad's 2003 Tahoe that is outside 24/7. Maaaan, showroom shine if you ask me with that combo.

Nice job!

Thank you.

I sure miss my 2006 White Ridgeline RTL Navi with olive interior. It was taken out by a tree from across the street during a nasty wind storm...
