2008 BMW 335i
Goal: Prep for sale
Labor Time: 5.5hrs
Owner wanted to get the car looking good for sale. Owner didn't opt to have the car fully corrected, but I thought the swirls and buffer trails were pretty bad- so I suggested glaze. I was very surprised on how well it did.
This time I didn't take as many pics as I normally do, by now pretty much everyone knows my process exactly lol. Check it out:
Before:
After:
Grime Reaper 3:1 on wheels
APC 4:1 on tyres and arches
EZ Detail brush. I can't stand this thing, I really want the RG XL brush
SV Wheel Brush, I love this thing- it's so sturdy.
I noticed that the break dust wasn't coming off. 3:1 GR didn't do the trick. I had no intention that it would be that hard. So quickly went back to my dorm to get my Grime Reaper jug.
CG Grime Reaper straight
Since the brakes were pretty big I did half of the wheel at a time. I marked the side that I didn't do then moved the car so it was on the other side
Before:
After:
Cleaning up the mufflers and exhaust tips. Pre-soaked with straight GR then used P21S polishing soap:
Clay with ONR as lube and CG clay:
Typical contaminants:
Sun shot of the hood:
Done with wash. my baby jumped in the picture right as I was about to take it, oh well.
CG EZ Creme Glaze on Uber Green Pad via Flex 3401. This stuff smells so good:
Some 50/50s under LED. Amazing:
Menz Powerlock. Applied a line in full diameter to ensure full coverage was achieved when applied.
This is the result:
PB Bold N Bright. 1 coat to restore and a 2nd to give a low gloss:
Interior wasn't bad. Need a vacuum and wipedown all over:
1Z Cockpit on wood, dash, and plastics:
APC 10:1 on leather:
SV Detail Brush on air vents and other cracks/crevices:
