Well I since I finally got my order last week, this weekend I spent around 13 hours on my car, a BLACK 2008 Pontiac G5 GT.

Now to preface this, I believe that, Saturday morning when I got up to start, the temperature was ~30F and the first spray I started on my car to get the initial frost/ice off to wash refroze. I had to let my car run as I started to wash to warm up the panels so the water wouldn't freeze. I guess that makes me normal among my peers here, but crazy to anyone else who doesn't understand.

I started out wearing 3 layers and finished up in shorts and a t-shirt. Got up this morning to put on the Fuzion after letting the DGPS cure overnight.

And of course the only way I could let it cure overnight without getting it wet was to have it in the garage, which is full of boxes. Luckily, my wife was out of town for the weekend, so I moved the boxes into the house Friday night so I could put the car in Saturday night. And when she returned home today, the garage was back to normal. Does that make me crazy?

Anyway, I got about 90% of the swirls/scratches out. So I am pleased with how it turned out. If I had all day today I would have done more correcting, but my schedule wouldn't allow it.

I do still hate this state (South Carolina). The roads suck. You notice all the pock marks in the hood? I have only had my car since last August =(

Washing:
MF mitt
Megs Gold class shampoo
Dried with MF from target.

Correction:
PC 7424
LC CCS pads
Orange - SIP
White - 106
Gray - WG paintwork Polish Enchancer

Sealant:
Blue - DGPS 3.0

LSP:
Fusion by hand

Nice job there....Grate reflections too....

Nice job! I was gonna say that's nice, especially for your 1st detail, but that's just nice, period! You'll find your results will improve as will your technique the more you do.

::::sounds of sad violins::::

You oughta give Ohio roads a try. with the constant freezing/thawing, salt and weather that prevents any type of patching the roads feel like they received a mortar barrage! Come on up for a few days... when you get home your roads will probably feel like they've just been resurfaced by comparison! Im the MAN

Very nicely done. That fuzion looks stunning. Got a jar of it on the sub-zero special. Waiting for the spring thaw so that I can do some winter car cleanup.

Just noticed the sticker on the windshield, AF or Navy? Man that looks like The Lakes of Summerville area.

Thanks for the compliments.

I also see today/tonight how well Fuzion beads. It is raining all night and the beading is amazing. Nice tight little drops. And they just slide off the paint just above 35mph.

And I just love looking at my car in the daylight now =D.

So here it is 9 days after the wax, and I wash it for the first time. Fuzion is amazing. The car came clean so easily. And my wash process has improved dramatically. I see no new swirls and am very happy about that.

Thanks AG!!

And thanks to everyone else who has offered their advice.
