Car: 2008 Black Mercedes CLS 550
Mileage: Around 8500
Process:
Wheels, Tires, And Wheel Wells cleaned with APC+ 4:1
Foamed with Foam Cannon and DP Xtreme Foam
Wash with Meg's Gold Class 2BM
Dried with Guzzlers
Clayed with Meg's OTC clay kit (using the rest of this before I get the good stuff)
Correction done on my PC
m105 with orange CCS
m205 with white CCS
Sealed with Wolfgang Sealant
Tires Dressed with Endurance
Wheel Wells and other trim dressed with Hyper Dressing 3:1
Exhaust tips were done with #0000 steel wool and (don't kill me, it was free and I wanted to test it out.) Turtle Wax Chrome and Metal Polish
This car was a pleasure to work on. I started on it at around one in the afternoon one Friday and finished at two in the morning Saturday. This is the second owner for this car but when the current owner first got it I knew something was fishy. It seemed that in the first 700 miles this thing was washed in the Florida sun with nothing but a scotch brite pad.
Before:
MMMMMM Water Spots
Well Hiya!
Didn't have my halogens when I washed and clayed this, so I made due with the overheads and my camera flash
And on to correction pics with halogens
Testing
50/50 on the door
After 205
And finished afters, no sun shots because this was back in February when we got nothing but snow and clouds.
Reckognize the Jetta??? That's whatcha call Rent for the garage.:xyxthumbs:
