Car: 2008 Black Mercedes CLS 550
Mileage: Around 8500
Process:
Wheels, Tires, And Wheel Wells cleaned with APC+ 4:1
Foamed with Foam Cannon and DP Xtreme Foam
Wash with Meg's Gold Class 2BM
Dried with Guzzlers
Clayed with Meg's OTC clay kit (using the rest of this before I get the good stuff)
Correction done on my PC
m105 with orange CCS
m205 with white CCS
Sealed with Wolfgang Sealant
Tires Dressed with Endurance
Wheel Wells and other trim dressed with Hyper Dressing 3:1
Exhaust tips were done with #0000 steel wool and (don't kill me, it was free and I wanted to test it out.) Turtle Wax Chrome and Metal Polish
This car was a pleasure to work on. I started on it at around one in the afternoon one Friday and finished at two in the morning Saturday. This is the second owner for this car but when the current owner first got it I knew something was fishy. It seemed that in the first 700 miles this thing was washed in the Florida sun with nothing but a scotch brite pad.

Looks good!
Wolfgang sealant makes a black car so sexy!

Nice Work :dblthumb2: ! That's pretty impressive for just using the orange pad. How many buffing cycles did you have to do per section?

Awesome work Jonathan! Sorry took so long for me to reply. You look COLD! haha I bet that clear was so hard to correct. You should have seen the 5-series I finished today...2 days to get everything worked out on it, but it's looking INSANE man! I have some pics. I'll show you next time you're around.

Err I cant really remember exactly but I was doing the usual 5 section passes. I think there were only a few places I needed to run over twice especially behind the back tires.

Wow, that goes to show that I really need to pick up some M105.

Its okay man. And yes the day I got the pictures I was on my way to ski and it was around twenty. Unfortunately the garage isn't heated AT ALL unlike you fancy people. And I was really shocked how well the clear was correcting. I did a maintenence wash on it today and found a few places I could have done better on so i'll probably do that sometime this week. Text me or call me next time you are in the garage. I'm free alllll week. Yay being a college kid!

Oh and BTW, I did that headlight correction (sorta) today. It came out kind of so so. I'll have to talk with you about my method later.

The ONLY gripe I have with 105 is the dusting. The micro marring left behind is mostly taken care of by 205 and I hear if you want to get that last little bit out use menz PO85RD. I am getting ready to order some (along with powerlock) to use and see if it is worth anything.

Overall. 105 FTW

Great work, Lynchburg, man used to live there, definitely miss it. heard you guys got a lot of snow this past winter.
