A month ago I decided to buy the PC7424 XP. I have a Snap On Polisher, but wanted to buy a PC for fun. I also bought a ton of other stuff so I decided to try it all out on this 2009 Honda Fit. It is Vivid Blue Pearl. This is my moms car. It is a daily driver and she is a landscaper, so it gets pretty dirty. Also being a Canadian and living on the "Wet Coast" of British Columbia. We get a huge variety of weather here. We truly live up to the "4 Seasons." Being summer, we are getting some beautiful weather so it was time to give this 18 month old car some TLC. So here is a brief overview of products used and pics to follow.

Engine was then rinsed and sprayed with Meguiars Super Degreaser. It was allowed to sit for 20 min. I did use a brush I had lying around, but in all honesty, this degreaeer is slick. You could see it work as soon as it came in contact. After it sat, I sprayed it off with the hose. Car was then started and allowed to run facing the sun for 15min. I used compressed air to spray off the remaining water and then dressed the engine with Meguiars All Season Dressing.
Engine After
Onto the car itself. First a few before shots. I didn't take to many as I wasn't sure the results were going to be as good as they were.
Wheels and Wheel wells - Megs Super Degreaser and Megs NXT wash
Car - Megs NXT wash
Dried - Cobra Waffle Weave Towel
Clayed - Pinnacle Clay and Wolfgang Clay lube
Washed again with Megs NXT
Dried with Cobra Waffle Weave and blown off with compressed air
PC 7424XP
- orange ccs pad/Wolfgang TSR
- gray ccs pad/Wolfgang FG
- red ccs pad/Wolfgang DGPS
Lots of Microfiber cloths were used
From start to finish, this car took me approx 15 hours (not including wait between DGPS and Souveran). This was my first time using the PC, so there was a small learning curve. All in all I was extremely happy with the results and my mom was speechless. I truly love doing these sort of things. It is truly a great hobby. Thanks for reading and I hope you all enjoy the final results. I do know how though of a crowd I am trying to impress here with the talent this site has. Hopefully I am not embarrassing myself, but I am really looking forward to learning more and practicing my skills!
