2009 Piper Meridian

Was contacted by this client to get some protection on his plane. He uses this plane A LOT.

The plane received a ONR wash and was then clayed. If you have ever washed a plane you realize how long this can take. A lot of time was spent on different ladders and rolling stools, etc. After the plane was clayed and dried, the entire plane was waxed using Colinite 845 using a PCXP. To make my life a little easier, I put the 845 into a spray bottle so I could spray my pad periodically instead of pouring out of the bottle.

I was able to meet of few of the other plane owners that share the hangar with my client, and will probably be back to do some work on other planes. Very nice group of people and a one of them a name most would recognize.

The Escalade in the background to be done in about a week along with his other vehicles.

No before and after pictures as the plane was in pretty good shape except for some minor grease and bugs

I want to give a big shout out to Ed, Porsche Pilot, who helped me a lot with talking to me about this detail as he is very familiar with this aircraft. He is a great guy and has always been willing to help.

Thanks for viewing guys.

No wonder why I have never heard of a Piper Meridian.

It is a damn plane.... Looks brand new... nice work

Looks good man! :props: Ed is a great guy and knows a lot about planes, that's for sure.

Nice job Stephan! Thats a great looking plane!

Who is the famous person? My curiosity is getting me again

Thanks guys.

Flash, check your PM.

I put the 845 in a 12 oz spray bottle from Target.

I have been waiting for the pictures all week. Fantastic work Stephan! Airplanes take a whole different approach to process even though the products cross aviation/automotive lines. I told you would spend alot of time on your back!

Great work and hopefully the hangar mates will come a callin'!

For those that are interested, you are looking at a 1.3 - 1.5 million dollar aircraft. Pressurized cabin and a turbine engine that can cruise comfortably above 20,000 feet. A nice ride indeed.

Very nice work. Looks like you got quite the workout!

It was a workout for sure. My back still feels funky.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Ed, again I really appreciate your guidance.

Thanks guys. The plane was a lot of fun to work on.

It would be nice to do at least one a month as the money is nice.

Great job! Congrats! How long dis take the entire detail work?

I think it was around 6-7 hours for just ONR wash, clay, and seal.

I want a plane just so I can say "Hey hunny, do you want to take the Lambo or the Jet?" lol

Cool stuff! :xyxthumbs:

*Edit*: I'm curious how the 845 will hold up on a plane traveling hundreds of miles per hour through rain.

Lambo or jet would be a debate that I hope to have with my wife someday.

Panther...I am also curious to see how 845 will hold up.

This is why I love the members of this forum! :props:

Beautiful job!

you know the type of dream where you want to park your lambo next to the rolls??? this would be next in line.

i have to ask, have you found owners of aircraft more appreciative of the work you have completed on their plane *vs. most owners of cars you have detailed?
