So my buddy bought one of these cars and he was wondering what to use on the vinyl stripes that come on the car..They are that matte finish and they are not clear coated over. Would it be fine to just use the Wolfgang sealant 3.0 on them. I told him to use the Aerospace 303 on them

You could use either one. Just be careful not to get 303 on the painted areas, or it will streak. If you decide to use Wolfgang, apply it thin and CAREFULLY buff it out of the edges before it dries.

I have matte stripes down the side of my car and I use 1z plastic cleaner to clean the vinyl every major detail and regular APC on normal washes (dilution is what I would use on the interior). For protection I used Opti-Seal and worked great.

Maybe use a little painters tape to prevent this? I will pass this on because a co-worker is planning to purchase a new Camaro.

You could do that, or just carefully apply it along the edges with a foam applicator. Allow it to dry before buffing off and you won't have a problem. If you're careful and your hands don't shake like a 7424, this will be way easier than taping off the edges. :D

BTW, 05xrunner, you have some nice equipment in your sig! When do we get to see some pictures? :)

I will pass it along to him..
LOL as soon as its summer again I can take some new photos of my truck and try some stuff out.
