Well my client finally received his new baby.
2010 2SS Camaro fully loaded
Engine- 6.2 Liter V8 426HP LS3 six speed manual (no paddle shift here)

The owner told the dealer NOT to touch it, since his detailer would do everything.
Since transport made the car so nasty, he allowed them to just wash it. And specified
that they were to use the dealerships best to wash it.

Thank God, they had there best guy wash it. Since I have seen horror stories before.

The wash
I went with the new XMT gel shampoo and conditioner soap.( I think it smells like baby powder) and the shmitt.

Wheels and Tires
A dose of dawn soap.- To help remove some of the dealer slug tire dressing.

Interior
Carpets needed a little vacuumed. Pinnacle leather conditioner was used for the leather interior. And Pinnacle vinyl and rubber protectant was used on console/dash/door panels.

Exterior
Pinnacle ultra poly clay was used. The Flex 3401 and a Cobra cross grove white pad.
With Optimum polish II and Optimum finish polish. And Wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant 3.0 for the final.

Sorry there is no good sun shots, I didn't finish till 7:30 and sun was starting to go down.

Wow! That is one bad@ss Camaro! Love it! Thank goodness he knows to let a detailer take care of it. I wish someone would let me shine one of those!

Looks good, but I got to say I hate the body style. I miss my 69... Give me the classic any day!

They look great, but best wait a year or two. Ive seen the checklist for dealers on common camaro problems and it is HUUUGE. All sorts of little things. I think the next model year or two will be the best camaro yet.

I want it in a convertible......maybe they will make it soon? Nice Job!

Im glad to see that they painted the ground effects. I did a red one last week and the ground affects werent painted, looks awful. How did you like workin with the paint? I found it to be on the softer side. The detail looks great! Did you get to drive it? Theyre pretty fun!!
I have black one booked for next week, cant wait to do another one!!

vrey nice!! would be nice to detail a brand new car, lol.

Very Nice indeed and kudos to the owner to have someone qualified to keep his new Camaro in pristine shape!!!!

Good show

that appearance package (ground effects) looks like an option. Havent seen any locally with the chrome outlets around the exhaust. Saw a beautiful one recently in metallic blue-green with white race stripes. Nice work as always Ed ...

Nice and clean man good job.
I still can't get over the "smiling cat fish" look camaro's have.

Very nice job Ed, I absolutely love those cars, wish I could grab one! WG DGPS gave it the nice finishing touch.

You are right the painted look so much better. I try and not drive my client's cars.

Scott, that is correct, they are a option for the car. They do come unpainted, I think in a dark gray color.

I also think that the WG dgps gives a nice finish on black...

finally GM built something good looking...their dependability increased over the last few years, but maybe because of them concentrating on reliability, vehicles really lost their style, it was too plan, like Pop Eyes chicken and busquits...But this one is really good looking one, I might even stop by a Chevy dealer and check it out.

By the way, nice work on a car.
