New to the forum, been browsing for a while though...
I just detailed my wife's Surf Blue Metallic Jeep as part of her bday gift...
Looking for feedback on the order of application and any other positive criticism! I do not have a DA yet, so I couldn't really do any paint correction. Overall the paint is already in great shape other than some surface swirls in the hood where some bird #### got spread around and scratched the clearcoat...
Order of application:
Washed with CG Citrus Gloss/APC all black trim
Clayed
1 coat CG Blacklight
2 coats CG Jetseal 109
1 coat Meguiars Gold Class Liquid Wax
Final wipedown/coat of CG V07
Treated the soft top and all black trim w/ Aerospace 303
Didn't do anything with the tires because they are being replaced this weekend...
Before:
After all the paint work, but before treating the black trim/bumpers, etc...
Shop dogs:
One more to show the metallic!
Let me know if I should be applying the Jetseal or anything in a different sequence...
