This daily driver was brought to me today. It got my basic services, but all in all it came out quite nice.

It arrived in A- typical fashion for darker colored paint...scratches all over the place but not too many swirls for whatever reason.

After DP foam we examined the paint

After claying the paint, many contaminates were removed, immediately providing the paint with some gloss and shine

Here are the paint thickness readings, for a 7 year old truck it has never been detailed...

After a round of HD Speed and I threw in some Black label paint sealant the end result was very nice. I got this car to about 85% defect free with 1 round of polishing. Since I just got the DP tire coating on Friday, I threw that in also, plus it gave me some practice. I used DLUX on all the faded plastic trim on the exterior of the Jeep. The customer got a lot of value for their dollar.

The interior was a light color, and I always cringe when I see tan or the likes of it...Lots of scrubbing, but as you can see it turned out better than new.

As always thanks for viewing. Comments always appreciated.

Once again a wonderful job. You always give your customer their money's worth. I love the folder you provide to your customers as well.

Hi Scott. I like Very much your works and the atention is fantastic, bit i dont understand why you use HD SPEED for the 1 Step polish.

HD SPEED is 70% polish, the same of HD polish and 30% HD POXY (LSP) . Ir you protect the car with a Pinacle coating , not think it's a bad choice?
SPEED add carnauba wax.

a greeting, I love his work

Hello... I'm not understanding your question. Why use HD Speed and then cover it with something else?

I find HD Speed fantastic to work with in terms of easy on/off but it doesn't leave the top notch shine I'm looking for.

I usually will cover it with Souvergin and call it a day but I have a big tub of the Pinnacle Sealent and I was in a giving mood!

Some ask me why not just use one of the better finishing compounds since it gives more correction and finishes LSP ready. My only answer is why I sometimes don't is because they aren't as easy to work with as speed and sometimes the car doesn't need such major cut as in this case with minimal swirls.

If that doesn't answer your question let me know.

Scott
