Well I finally got around to the Forte.
History: This was a rental vehicle. Now I got an amazing deal so I took it. The paint was in bad shape, you know when they wash, they wash with sandpaper at the rental shops so that became very evident. I tried to do a correction a month ago with a PC7424 and an orange LC 6.5" pad. I got some results, but not what I was looking for. I bought the Rupes system and after reading lots, decided Duragloss was for me. So lets get started.
Note: Rupes microfiber pads are amazing, I was really disappointed with the foam pads, smooth, but not the correction I wanted. The microfiber pads are my favourite at this point.
Process below:
1. Two bucket wash with meg's soap.
2. Nanoskin aquascrub and nano glide whole car.
3. Two bucket wash again
4. Rupes LHR21 & LHR75E with blue & Green pad with Zephyr polish (test spots)
5. Was not happy with the outcome so I switched to the Rupes microfiber blue cutting pads and Duragloss #501
6. Waited an hour and topped up with Duragloss #601+105 (mixed 1:4)
7. buffed to a shine!
Pictures: (I know the post wash pictures look good, but it was early and I could not get a good pics of the swirls!)
