I got a call from a potential customer asking if I could take a look at his 2010 Golf. He stated that he had a friend clean it up for him but it just didn't look right. I had him bring the car over so I could take a look at it and see what he was talking about.

When he arrived I could see what he was talking about as soon as he pulled in the drive. The car was covered in holograms! Upon inspecting the vehicle the car was full of surface scratches and was just overall a mess. I asked where he got it done and he replied that a friend of his that works at a body shop buffed it out for him. I had the day open and we agreed on me correcting the damage that was done. He said i could have it overnight which was good because I was going to need the extra time!

Here are some before pics...

As you can see it was in rough shape! So I started the process..

Wash, Dry, Clay...

I then started with M205 on a Orange LC CCS pad with the PC, didn't make a dent... I switched to M105 on a new Orange LC CCS pad. It was better but not getting all the swirls out. I ended up using M105 with a Yellow LC CCS Pad to get all the swirls and haze out. I then switched to M205 with a White LC CCS pad to do the polishing. I finished it up with M21 Sealer and M26 Yellow wax.

Here are the after shots. Unfortunately it was a little cloudy this morning but you can still see the difference!

Customer was shocked with the results! Now on to the next one!

Thank you for looking!

I can only see the before pics. We want to see the results!

I've almost always owned VW cars. Dad has Audi's. I've found that MF pads really work on these cars. Even something similar to M205 on a MF cutting pad makes a nice dent in defect. D300 with a MF pad works amazingly well and finishes great on these hard paints. Nice work.

Wow those before shots really put the "H" in hologram! Looks fabulous now. Great job on a great car :)

The VW was looking beat up. The end results look good.

Thank you for all the positive comments!! The weather up here in the North East puts a beating on our cars! So its nice to bring them back to better then new!
