Evening everyone, today I had to opportunity to do some correction on a black 2011 Ford Fiesta.
Customer assumes the car was keyed, left in a parking lot, and came back with this
Other than that, you can tell it was pretty much only washed in a car wash.
I only had ~8 hours to do this, so I skipped 50/50 and in-process shots, bear with me.
For the key scratches, I used M105 and an orange LC Power Finish. For the rest of it, a blue LC Power Finish with M205 on my 9227c. Cleaned up with a combo of green/white LC CCS pads on my PC with M205.
On to the good stuff
Best picture I could get of the key scratch afterwards, phones don't do macro too well
After polishing, finished with a glaze (black beauty from a local company) and megs NXT
And some shameless reflections
Thanks for looking.
